What Pererenan is like
Pererenan and the villages behind it are newer builds, mostly two and three bedroom villas on larger plots, with more owner-occupiers and long lease holders than Canggu has. Households here often have two or three dogs rather than one, and most have a garden the dogs use all day. Tumbak Bayuh and Buduk are still working rice-field villages, with houses tucked in between the paddies.
What we usually see on coats here
Multi-dog households are the norm here: a mix of rescued Bali dogs and medium breeds like labradors, golden retrievers and border collies. The recurring issue is wet-season mud, because the field paths turn to clay from November through March and it dries hard into the leg feathering, the belly and the paw fur where a brush cannot reach. Packed mud between the toes is the single most common thing we clear off a Pererenan dog.

Same price list everywhere in Bali. Pickup within 5 km of the salon is free; beyond that we agree the fee before we set off.

I have three dogs. Can you take them all in one visit?
Yes. We take them together in the van and work through them one at a time at the salon, then bring them all back the same afternoon. Tell us the sizes and rough coat length when you book so we can set aside enough time, because three medium dogs is close to a full working day for one groomer.
My dog comes back caked in rice-field mud every wet season. What should I book?
Basic Grooming handles most of it, since two shampoos and a proper blow dry will shift dried mud that brushing just smears around. If the leg and belly fur has already matted with it, Grooming + Hair Cut is the kinder option, because clipping packed fur out beats pulling at it. Wet-season mud also brings ticks in off the field edges, so a lot of Pererenan owners book flea treatment with it through those months.
