What Nusa Dua is like
The ITDC compound, Peminge and the Sawangan strip are planned developments, with resort grounds, staff housing and gated residential blocks that run guards, barriers and visitor logs. Benoa is more mixed, with local housing behind the hotel row. Households here are often hotel and resort staff, plus long-stay residents in apartments and townhouses with no garden.
What we usually see on coats here
Because so much of Nusa Dua is apartments and compound housing, we groom more indoor cats here than dogs: persians, persian crosses and long-haired domestics that never go outside and mat along the back, under the arms and around the rear. Air-conditioned indoor cats shed heavily too, and the loose coat felts underneath the top layer where owners do not see it until it is solid. Dogs are mainly small indoor breeds, and cats and dogs are worked in separate rooms so a nervous cat never sits next to a barking dog.
What it costs
Same price list everywhere in Bali. Pickup within 5 km of the salon is free; beyond that we agree the fee before we set off.

Questions from Nusa Dua
My compound requires visitors to be registered at the gate. How do we handle that?
Register our driver name, vehicle and plate the day before, and message us so we can send those details in the format security usually asks for. If your block only lets a resident call visitors in, be reachable by phone at the pickup time. Gate delays are the single biggest reason a Nusa Dua pickup runs late.
My indoor cat has mats along her back. Can they be brushed out?
If they are still loose, yes. Once a mat is tight against the skin, brushing it out hurts and can tear the skin, so we clip it out instead, which is Grooming + Hair Cut for a cat. She is handled in the quiet cat room away from the dogs, and we never sedate, so if she has had enough we stop and finish the rest on another visit.
